RowByWord legal
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Niryph, the publisher of RowByWord (“Niryph”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@niryph.com.
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live and with the rules for the Apple Account used to obtain the app.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use RowByWord on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms and the App Store usage rules.
You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, publicly host, modify, reverse engineer, bypass technical protections, interfere with store verification, extract substantial game content, or use RowByWord to develop a competing product, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot lawfully be restricted.
RowByWord is a word-survival game. Rules, scoring, dictionaries, balancing, themes, challenges, and availability may change as the game develops. Progress is primarily stored on your device. You are responsible for device backups where available. Resetting progress, clearing app data, or deleting the app may permanently remove local progress.
Game outcomes, scores, achievements, and virtual presentation items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or property.
RowByWord may offer non-consumable in-app purchases such as Full Game Unlock and Storm Skins · Volume One. The App Store displays the current price and purchase terms before confirmation. Payment, tax, Family Sharing eligibility, refunds, and account-level purchase records are handled by Apple under its terms.
A non-consumable purchase may be restored on supported devices while you are signed in to the Apple Account that bought it. We may update the presentation, names, balance, or included content, but will not intentionally convert a purchased permanent entitlement into a time-limited subscription. If a purchase does not restore, contact us and Apple Support. Refund eligibility is decided by Apple and applicable law.
Optional features use Apple Game Center and App Store services. Their availability depends on Apple, your account, network access, device compatibility, region, and platform settings. Apple’s terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for outages, account restrictions, leaderboard moderation, or other acts controlled by Apple.
Do not manipulate scores, achievements, purchases, Daily results, or leaderboards; exploit vulnerabilities; automate play against public services; impersonate others; disrupt the app or connected services; or use RowByWord unlawfully. We may reject invalid submissions, reset compromised public records, restrict connected features, or report abuse to a platform provider where reasonably necessary to protect players and services.
RowByWord, its original software, visual design, name, and original game content are owned by Niryph or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party components and word data remain subject to their own notices and licences.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to improve RowByWord, while you keep ownership of any rights you already hold. Do not send material you do not have permission to share.
We may provide updates, fix defects, change features, or stop supporting an old operating-system version. We do not promise that every feature will always be available. You may stop using RowByWord at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to connected features for serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or platform enforcement.
RowByWord is provided for entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of local progress, acceptance of every possible English word, or permanent availability of third-party services.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or other rights that applicable consumer law says cannot be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Niryph is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of local progress, loss caused by unsupported modification, or failure of a platform or network outside our reasonable control.
If you use RowByWord as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care, but not for loss that was not foreseeable or for business loss. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections provided by the law of your usual country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in any court that applicable consumer law permits.
We may update these terms to reflect app changes, legal requirements, security needs, or platform rules. Material changes will be identified by a new version or effective date and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Continuing to use the app after updated terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a reorganisation or sale, provided your rights are not reduced.
